A community event that introduces the world of aviation to girls in Northeastern Pennsylvania will be coming to Kingston this September to inspire a new generation of pilots.
The Girls in Aviation Day: Northeastern Pennsylvania 2026 is reaching out to parents with daughters between the ages of 6 and 13 years old, providing an immersive adventure into the world of aviation. It is sponsored by Women in Aviation International Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter, and the Girls in Aviation Committee.
It will be the tenth iteration of the event on an international level, and the fifth regional celebration. Girls who attend will learn about the high-flying role of aviation and the exploration it can open, with those interests and passions opening the door to different career paths. Brochure printing is a useful in-depth marketing tool for events like this, providing parents with all of the necessary details to determine if it is a good fit for their child.
Girls who attend will receive a complimentary T-shirt and backpack to commemorate the event. Parents are asked to have their children wear comfortable clothing and footwear. Poor behavior and bullying will not be tolerated.
The event will be held at the Wilkes-Barre Wyoming Valley Airport in Kingston. Check-in opens at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 19, ending at 2:00pm. Enrollment is open online for $31 per child.
