Health fair brings information to Kingston residents

A health fair is in the works near Kingston for this autumn with the goal of providing information on health-related programs to area residents.

The 2026 BOOtastic Health Fair, which is being planned by NECMS, is coming to nearby Wilkes-Barre Township, pairing trick-or-treating with a chance to gain new knowledge on health programs for the end of 2026 and all of 2027. The gathering will be held at the Wyoming Valley Mall, with local vendors and health practitioners invited to attend and meet with potential patients.

The gathering’s purpose is to increase health awareness in the community in a fun way, leading to higher education and prevention of injuries and illnesses. Visitors can learn about the providers in the Kingston area, along with the services they can provide. Business card printing and banner printing are two excellent tools for practitioners and vendors who plan on attending events like this.

All vendors who plan on attending are asked to bring packaged candy Bags to participate in the event’s trick-or-treat segment. Vendors are also encouraged to dress in their best Halloween costumes and decorate their tables. Registration is open online.

The Wyoming Valley Mall in nearby Wilkes-Barre Township will host the BOOtastic Health Fair. The fair is scheduled for Saturday, October 17th, from noon to 2:00pm. Vendors can register in advance online, with packages starting at $50 each.
