Kingston revelers will be heading to the Pittston City St. Patrick's Parade, its accompanying Little Miss/Little Mister Leprechaun contest, and Leprechaun Loop Run/Walk, all taking place in late February and early March.
This year will mark the 8th Annual Little Miss and Little Mister Pittston Leprechaun contest, with the former event being for girls and the latter for boys. Both will be for children between the ages of three to seven.
The contest will begin at 12:30 pm on Saturday, February 28 at the Pittston Memorial Library, 47 Broad Street, Pittston.
A Leprechaun Loop Run/Walk will start an hour before the parade. Registration for either the 5k Run or the 1 Mile Walk will be $25 without event shirts and $40 with shirts if signed up by February 22. The run and walk will begin at 10:30 am in the Lower Tomato Lot on Saturday, March 7.
Also, the 13th Annual Pittston City St. Patrick's Parade will have more than 120 entries, including floats, marching groups, bands, pipe and drum corps, and family-friendly entertainment marching down Mainstreet. Units that march in annual parades like this often arrange banner printing in the event's color and theme beforehand.
The 2026 Pittston City St. Patrick's Parade will be on Saturday, March 7, stepping off in Downtown Pittston at 11:45 am.
