At the end of March, the Kingston Armory will be teeming with families, pets, pet owners, and pet-themed businesses, vendors, and non-profit associations as part of Subaru of Wyoming Valley’s 2020 SPCA of Luzerne County Pet Expo.
Vendors will be peddling items for pets in areas such as care, grooming, feeding, safety, insurance, clothing, entertainment, treats, boarding and health. Some businesses will be offering walking, training, grooming, boarding and veterinary services. Food trucks will also be on site.
Local non-profits such as the Humane Society, animal rescues, adoption agencies and shelters, many bringing animals ready to take home, will be discussing and distributing information about their programs and services. Attendees often ask these agencies for Business Cards so they can get in touch with them at a later date to volunteer or adopt a pet.
A Microchip/Rabies Clinic will run from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday.
Adult admission will be $5 and kids under 12 will be free.
The 2-day event will open at 10:00 am and close at 6:00 pm Saturday March 28th and will run again Sunday March 29th from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. The Kingston Armory is located at 280 Market Street.
All animals allowed on the premises must be dog and people friendly, on leashes and have proof of all required vaccinations.
