Kingston kids riding high

Kingston children will have the opportunity for some interesting rides later this month.

The last Santa Express Train Ride for the year through Wayne County’s Winter Wonderland will occur right before Christmas Eve. The tour will include a present from Old St. Nick, candy canes, and a souvenir-size ticket.

Little ones can also ride with Santa on the trolley at the Electric City Trolley Museum Association. Families may check the trolley museum’s gift shop for Santa trolley Promotional Products.

Even after the New Year, Kingston children will be taking rides over to Wilkes-Barre for the Disney on Ice 100th Anniversary. Over 50 characters and over 30 songs from movies like Finding Dory, Beauty and the Beast, and The Lion King and will be included in the program. Old favorite characters will be there like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck and they will be alongside newer favorites such as the Disney Princesses, Dory, Sheriff Woody, and Buzz Lightyear.

Santa Express Train Ride will be December 23 from noon until midnight at the Stourbridge Line Rail Excursion, 32 Commercial Street, Honesale.

The last Christmas trolley rides for the season will be at the Electric City Trolley Museum, 300 Cliff Street, Scranton, Saturday December 22 and Sunday, December 23rd from noon until midnight.

Disney on Ice will run at various times from January 9 through 13 at the Casey Plaza Mohegan Sun Arena, 255 Highland Park Blvd, Wilkes Barre.
