Kingston ghosts and goblins have a busy night planned for Halloween

Halloween is coming and Kingston children will have plenty to do that afternoon and evening.

Kids will want to put on their costumes and head out for Wilkes-Barre. The first event will be the Trick-or-Treat at Chacko’s. There, kids under 14 years of age will receive shoe rental passes and one free game of bowling.

Children and parents can then head over to the town square and join in the Halloween fun, hosted again this year by the Downtown Wilkes-Barre Business Association, the City of Wilkes-Barre, and Diamond City. Radio station 98.7 KRZ will be providing Halloween-themed music as kids go from business to business collecting Halloween treats and Promotional Products. Businesses and organizations participating in the event will display jack-o-lanterns with ‘Safe Stop’ logos outside their establishments.

The last stop for the evening will be back in Kingston where everyone is invited to the Haunted Yard. The private residence will have spooky fun that will be appropriate for small children, yet spooky enough to scare big kids.

The Trick-or-Treat at Chacko’s will be from 4:00 until 9:00 pm at Chacko’s Family Bowling Center, 195 N. Wilkes Barre Blvd, Wilkes-Barre on Halloween afternoon.

Trick-or-Treating on Public Square will be from 4:30 pm until 7:00 pm in Downtown Wilkes-Barre also on Halloween.

The Haunted Yard will be at 150 W. Dorrance Street, Kingston from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, October 31 and will go until the candy runs out.
