Kingston kids, teens, and in some cases adults will have plenty to do during the Halloween season.
The Hoyt Library will hold its annual Spook-O-Bingo event tomorrow. People over 13 years of age are invited to an hour of scary stories and bingo. The novice and experienced bookworms alike will be vying for some ‘spectacular’ prizes. Although the event will be free, everyone is asked to register beforehand.
The next night will be a Trunk or Treat. Vehicles in the parking lot will have their trunks decorated and children can collect candy as they walk from car to car. There will also be food and more candy inside the building.
On Saturday, Kingston kids can go to another free Trunk-or-Treat. Everyone is encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes, and along with collecting candy from the decorated car trunks in the parking lot, each child will get a drink, bag of chips, and a hot dog while supplies last. Local businesses sponsor these kinds of events so they can put pictures into their advertising brochure, poster, and flyer printing.
Spook-O-Bingo will be at the Hoyt Library 284 Wyoming Avenue tomorrow, October 23, from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
The first Trunk or Treat will be Wednesday, October 24 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the Dorranceton United Methodist Church, 549 Wyoming Avenue.
The second Trunk or Treat will be from 10:00 am until 11:30 am this Saturday, October 27 at the Hoyt Library.
