Kingston gets a look at this years Connect Spotlight series

Kingston entrepreneurs, business students, and industry leaders in NEPA will get the opportunity to attend the 2020 Wilkes-Barre Connect Spotlights Series over the next few months.

The series of programs is designed to discuss potential partnerships and help people find them. The first event will be coming toward the end of February.

The evening will begin with a 15-minute presentation given by an entrepreneur with connections to the region. The organizers consider this their take on TED talks. There will also be nonprofits, students, and local entrepreneur video spotlights. Recommendations for both speakers and video spotlights are still being taken by Connect Spotlight.

The series is an effort by the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce of Business & Industry Connect, the Wilkes University Small Business Development Center, and other university affiliates, partnerships, institutes, and alliances to support business growth in North Eastern Pennsylvania.

People that attend events like this often update their Business Cards beforehand, then bring the new Business Cards with them so they can use the event as a networking opportunity.

The first Wilkes-Barre Connect Spotlight for 2020 has been scheduled for Wednesday evening, February 26 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Wilkes-Barre’s T.H.I.N.K. Center, 7 South Main Street.

Although the program will be free and available to the public, registration is advised.
