With 2017 on its way out, the Kingston area has a couple of venues that will be ringing in the New Year, and no doubt Flyers will be seen around the area to advertise the events.
Holiday Inn will begin with a cocktail hour. Hors d’oeuvres will be served and appetizer stations will have fresh fruit, crudité (French appetizers), and assorted cheeses. The three-course dinner will begin an hour later, and a continental breakfast and homemade desserts will be available after midnight. Entertainment will be Sweet Pepper and the Long Hots, and the New Year will be celebrated with a champagne toast.
The Woodlands will also have a dance and dinner party, and it too will begin in its grand ballroom. The menu for the evening will consist of a cocktail hour followed by a five-course turf and surf dinner. Noisemakers, hats, and champagne will be greeting the New Year.
Tickets purchased for this party will also allow access to the other two parties happening at the same location. One of those parties will be hosted by 98.5 KRZ AM Radio inside Club Evolution. Crescenzo’s Sports Bar will be having a Disco Dance Party in its executive lounge.
Those interested can head out to the Holiday Inn Wilkes Barre-East Mountain at 600 Wildflower, Wilkes-Barre on December 31. New Year’s Eve festivities will begin at 8:00 pm.
Some may rather attend the parties at the Woodlands Resort is at 1073 Highway 315, Wilkes-Barre where the revelry will begin at 7:00 pm.
