The Kingston area will be celebrating the holiday season with four holiday music concerts coming in early December.
The Trans-Siberian Orchestra will bring its The Ghosts of Christmas Eve performance to the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Piz, 255 Highland Park Boulevard, Wilkes-Barre this Sunday, November 27 at 3:00 pm and 7:30 pm. Tickets range from $29 to $99.50.
The cast of Forever Motown will take over the Mohegan Sun Pocono stage in Forever Motown: A Holiday Celebration. The full stage production will take place Sunday, December 4 beginning 4:00 pm at 1280 Highway, 315 Boulevard, Wilkes-Barre.
A Very Electric Christmas will be coming to the F.M. Kirby Center Tuesday, December 6 at 7:00 pm. This program is a story of a duck named Max whose course goes astray and he ends up at the North Pole, accompanied by dancing poinsettias, caroling worms, and nutcracker soldiers. The stage will be blackened, and characters are actors wearing neon light wires.
The Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic Holiday concert will feature the Choral Society of Northeastern PA, the Ballet Theater of Scranton, and the Bloomsburg University Concert Choir in two hours of festive seasonal music. Performances will be on Friday, December 9th at the Scranton Cultural Center, and Saturday, December 10 at the F.M. Kirby Center, 71 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre.
Holiday concerts like these usually have to get their brochure printing or poster printing done months ahead of time.
