On the Friday night, the event will kick-off with a meet and greet, pajama party, and comedy show. Saturday will feature a pool party and the Indoor House Music Festival with DJs Cool Curt, Omar Abdullah, Soulful Messiah, and Kev Nice.
Food and merchandise vendors will be onsite. Guests that attend events like these often search out vendors selling items such as T-shirts, Mugs, cups, and headbands sporting the event’s Logo Design. The Juneteenth graphic design is a black, green, russet, and white emblem with the words:
“Juneteenth Celebration through education, our history, our hope.”
Sunday will have a brunch, comedy, and a fashion show. Inn guests will also get the option to visit the casino and go roller skating.
Weekend passes are still available at $75 and can be purchased online at the Juneteenth Music Festival website until this Saturday, June 4.
Juneteenth Music Festival will take place Friday, June 17 beginning at 6:00 pm, continuing June 18, and ending June 19 at 3:00 pm at The Woodlands Inn, Ascend Hotel Collection, 1073 Pennsylvania 315 Wilkes-Barre. Single rooms can be reserved at the venue for $407.81 and doubles run $483.72, including breakfast and dinner.
