Luzerne County Medical Society will be hosting their fourth annual BOOtastic Health Fair mid-October.
The BOOtastic Health Fair is being held to provide the community with information about local programs, providers and services to improve health awareness through prevention, education, and fun.
Vendors will be decorating their tables, dressing in their Halloween best, and passing out Bags of candy to treat-or-treaters.
The event will open at 11:00 am for set up and registration. Trick-or-treating and Health Fair will run from noon to three at which time the event will begin to breakdown.
Volunteer organizations will be distributing information about their, services, missions, hours of operation and locations.
Although the health fair vendors will get free admission and set up, there are still three levels of sponsorship available. For $200 each candy sponsor will receive a vendor table and their Logo Design will be displayed at the entrance table. The Snack Sponsor at the $300 level will get a vendor table and their Logo Design in the snacks area. The community Health sponsor at the $500 level will get two tables and their logo on event signage and promotional materials.
Attendees may also bring their outdated medicine for the RX Take Back.
The 2022 BOOtastic Health Fair is scheduled for October 15th from noon to 3:00 pm at Wyoming Valley Mall, 84 W South Street, Wilkes Barre.
