The Luzerne County Medical Society will be combining its health fair with trick-or-treating in the 2020 BOOtastic Health Fair, which will take place in mid-October.
The fair was created a couple of years ago to emphasize health awareness, illness prevention, and health/wellness education. The event will provide information on health-related providers, services, and programs in the region.
Six-foot vendor tables will be laden with Halloween finery, and many vendors themselves will be decked out in spooktacular costumes. Along with health-related goods and services, vendors will be passing out candy Bags to all Kingston trick-or treaters.
Thanks to a health department grant, there will be no charge for vending tables. Therefore, the event is expecting to accommodate quite a few health-related businesses and associations. Businesses and non-profits that attend events such as this often have Business Cards with them so they can pass out pertinent information to anyone who asks.
Three sponsorships are available. The $200 Candy Sponsor will have their Logo Design on the entrance table along with their vendor table. The $300 Snack sponsor will get their Logo Design on the snack table along with their vendor table, while the $500 Community Health sponsor level includes Logo Design on all event promotional material, two vendor tables, and event signage.
The 2020 BOOtastic Health Fair will be at the Wyoming Valley Mall, 29 Wyoming Valley Mall, 84 W South Street, Wilkes-Barre from noon until 3:00 pm on October 17.
