The Luzerne County Medical Center will be hosting its third annual Bootastic Health Fair and RX Take Back in mid-October.
The event organizers hope to make the public more aware of health through prevention and education by providing information on providers, services and health-related programs that can be found in the community.
Dressed in their Halloween finery, health-related vendors will be setting up seasonal decorations and bringing individually bagged treats for trick-or–treaters.
Volunteer organizations can register for free and six-foot tables, chairs and linens will be provided. Health Fair vendors can register for $100 with the same perks.
Kingston businesses, clubs, and associations can also opt for the Candy Sponsor level for $200. Perks for this level will include vendor tables and advertising at the entrance table. For $300, Snack Sponsors will get their logo designs on the snack table along with a vendor table.
The most expensive level will be the Community Health Sponsor for $500. For this level, each sponsor will get their Logo Design on event signage and all event promotional material. Two tables will also be reserved for each Community Health Sponsor.
Set up and registration will begin at 11:00 am and the fair will run from noon until 3:00 pm.
This year’s Bootastic Health Fair will take place at 29 Wyoming Valley Mall, 84 W South Street, Wilkes-Barre, on October 16.
