Wyoming Valley Children’s Association will be holding its annual Blue and Gold Cocktail Party and Online Silent Auction fundraising event in mid-March.
The Cocktail Party will feature hors d’oeuvres, an open bar and a chance to view the more than 60 items in the silent auction. A short ceremony will present the Making a Difference Award to The Brotherhood of Chefs. Tickets are $100 each. Dress for the evening will be cocktail or business attire.
Donations can be made online at the time of registration. They can be made in $50, $75, $100, $250, and $500 increments, or can be customized.
The Blue and Gold Cocktail Party will take place March 18 and begins at 5:30 pm.
The interactive Online Silent Auction gets underway Wednesday, March 16 and culminates at the end of the Cocktail Party. The community is invited to bid, are bidders do not have to attend the party to win. Those here in Kingston wishing to take part need to set up a free bidding account on the event’s website.
All proceeds from the auction and the party will go to Wyoming Valley Children’s Association, an organization that helps children reach their full potential through therapy and education.
Supporters wishing to get the word out about events such as this often arrange flyer printing so that they have displays in their neighborhoods and at work.
WVCA Blue and Gold Cocktail Party and Online Silent Auction will be March 18 at the Woodlands Inn and Resort, 1073 PA-315 Wilkes-Barre.
