This month, Wilkes-Barre locals, and those in nearby Kingston, can enjoy an appearance from Cirque du Soleil Dralion.
The well-known circus troupe will be performing its final set of shows. The performance has had a 15-year run and will put on its finale in January of 2015. Dralion incorporates Chinese acrobatic arts with Western influences.
Cirque du Soleil is a circus act and street entertainment offering all rolled into one show. It began in 1984 with one act, and now consists of a multitude of different shows performed all over the world.
In order to advertise these culminating performances, the event organizers may have used a poster printing service to create promotional materials.
The event will take place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Casey Plaza located on 255 Highland Park Boulevard. The huge venue has more than 8,000 permanent seats.
On October 15 through 17, there will be a show each evening at 7:30 pm. On October 18, performances will take place at 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm. Finally, on October 19, there will be presentations at 1:30 pm and 5:00 pm. Ticket prices range from $35 to $125 for adults and between $28 to $107 for kids between the ages of two and twelve.
