A Women Veteran Conference will take place in Cranberry Township this March.
March is celebrated as Veteran’s Month for Women, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Department of PA are the event's sponsor. All female veterans are welcome to attend this weekend of fellowship and comradeship. Information about being a woman veteran and the different issues that impact them will be discussed. Attendees will also obtain information on how to get healthcare and other important and beneficial services.
There will be a variety of presentations, including ones from women veterans, advocacy groups, and motivational speakers.
Individuals are not required to be a member of the VFW to partake in this conference. However, pre-registration is required in order to attend. To register, individuals can visit the VPF Department of PA site, where Forms and an agenda are available. If additional assistance is needed, individuals can contact Amy McKenzie via email at quartermaster@ephratavfw.org or via phone at 717 575 3982.
Brochure printing is one means event organizers can use to get information across to women veterans at events such as this one.
This conference will be held from Friday, March 24 to Sunday, March 26. It will be located at the Pittsburgh Marriot North on 100 Cranberry Woods Drive, Cranberry Township. Those interested can visit the event listing to download a flyer.
