Studio to hold holiday-themed kids event

An art studio in Wexford, a town a few miles from Cranberry Township, will be hosting a Christmas crafting event in mid-November.

The Youth Ornament Making pARTy will allow kids aged 5 to 12 to sculpt their own Christmas ornaments out of clay. They will get to make a total of eight pieces. The parents will be able to bring the crafters back whenever it works for them in order to add the paint/glaze. Once the ornaments are fired, guests will be contacted to pick up the finished pieces.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, this crafting session is a drop-off. Children will spend two hours at Dots and Doodles working on their project, and eating a pizza dinner. A special gift will also be there for them to enjoy. Kids are expected to be taken home within 15 minutes of the ending time of the event. If this does not occur, there will be an additional charge of $25 per child, per 15 minutes. The studio Logo Design will be on the outside of the building and recognizable to those going for the first time.
