Spooky event returns to Cranberry Township

A Halloween event is to be held in Cranberry Township next month.

The annual Great Pumpkin Festival offers a night of family-friendly entertainment and activities. These include pumpkin patches to select ones for carving, crafts, games, and free candy. There will also be appearances by characters in princess and superhero costumes. Patrons are also welcome to dress up in their own costumes as they mingle with other residents in the Halloween spirit. There will be professional photographers as well as a photo booth on site to capture the activities of the day.

The event is an initiative by the Parks and Recreation Department of the community, which offers creative and educational activities for community members of all ages, with a special focus on children and teens. To this end, the department frequently hosts family-friendly events such as this one. It works alongside the Cranberry Public Library, with sponsorship from Armstrong, Goldfish Swim School, and Princess and Superhero Parties Pittsburgh.

The evening will be free for all to attend. Printing services can be an efficient way to use photos to create memorabilia for annual events such as this one.

This year’s celebration will take place on Saturday, October 21 at the Cranberry Township Municipal Building, which is at 2525 Rochester Road, Unit 400, Cranberry Township. It begins at 6:00 pm.
