Santa stops first in Cranberry Township

Christmas festivities start early in Cranberry Township with its long tradition of kicking off the holidays with a November visit from Santa.

Santa's First Stop is an annual event in the township where families gather for an evening of fun activities and the much anticipated visit by St. Nicholas. While it's widely known that Santa's Christmas Eve travels begin at the International Date Line in the South Pacific, the children of Cranberry have come to expect his first appearance in their community. He is joined by Mrs. Clause as they ride into town aboard a fire engine to the delight of many youngsters.

It's not just the arrival of Santa that makes it a very special event. Other activities include kids' crafts and games, a gallery of wreaths and trees, an outside holiday light display, live reindeer, Christmas carols, a photo booth, and a large Lego display.

Area businesses, as well as the Butler County Chamber of Commerce, are involved as sponsors of Santa's First Stop. In addition, a number of local refreshment vendors will be set up at the event offering food and beverages. Vendors and sponsors such as these often benefit from having professional Logo Design to promote their business.

Santa's First Stop is November 22, 2024 beginning at 6 pm at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center, with displays and activities both inside the building and outside on the great lawn at 2525 Rochester Road.
