Two well-known Canadian pop punk bands, Sum 41 and Simple Plan, will perform near Cranberry Township in May of this year. They will be joined by the up-and-coming American pop punk band, Set It Off.
Sum 41 formed in Ajax, Ontario in 1996. They're known best for their single 'Fat Lip'. However, several of their other singles, such as 'In Too Deep', also achieved significant success. While the band thinks of themselves as a rock band, their music has been described as pop punk, skate punk, horror punk, melodic hardcore, and several more.
Simple Plan formed in Montreal, Quebec in 1999. Their style has been described by their record company as 'classic punk energy and modern pop sonics'. They are frequent performers at the Warped Tour. They have won several MuchMusic Video Awards and have been nominated for Juno and MTV Video Music Awards.
Set It Off is still relatively new on the scene, having just formed in Tampa Bay, Florida in 2008. They have released five studio albums and four EPs so far. Their music has been described as pop punk and often features synthesized orchestral tracks.
The concert will take place on May 3rd at 400 North Shore Drive in Pittsburgh, PA. The doors will open at 6 pm. Up-and-coming bands often use Graphic Design Services for their albums and merchandise.
