Local library hosts educational series

The Cranberry Public Library will host a weekly educational event for residents this December.

The ‘Block Party’ is a development program for children that will use wooden blocks to encourage learning growth. The event caters to children between the ages of two and five years old. A STEAM initiative, it allows guests to carefully stack each piece of block, and then tear it down, and rebuild again. This targets fine motor skills, and helps with extending attention span. There will also be other building toys for kids to play with.

The session will last for 45 minutes. The first part of the event took place in September, so now guests are being invited to sign up for the second part.

The cost for attending will be free for everyone. Each child must be accompanied by at least one adult. Everyone attending must first register online. There is limited seating available with around 20 places left at the time of writing, so patrons should register as early as possible to secure a spot.

Printing services can offer a variety of options for educational materials for children to use at events like this one.

This event will take place on Friday, December 16 at the Cranberry Public Library. This is located at 2525 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania 16066. It will begin at 10:00 am.
