Free movies and music come to Cranberry Township

Families in and around Cranberry Township are gearing up for another season of free outdoor local film and music events.

The Cranberry Parks and Recreation Department presents Movies in the Park and Music in the Park throughout the summer months. Organizations like this can benefit from the use of professional Graphic Design Services to promote such family-friendly events.

Beginning June 12, and for three other summer Wednesdays, free movies will be shown at dusk at the Rotary Amphitheater in Community Park on Ernie Mashuda Drive. Film buffs are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets and snacks to enjoy during the films. Pets are also welcome to spend movie evenings in the park.

Music in the Park will be featured at the same location on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm, beginning June 20. The Rotary club will have a concession on site for the concert series.

The line-up of Wednesday night Movies in the Park includes:

◦ June 12 - Despicable Me 3
◦ June 26 - The Super Mario Bros Movie
◦ July 24 - Migration
◦ August 14 - Kung Fu Panda

For Music in the Park, the schedule is as follows:

◦ June 20 - Altered Egos
◦ June 27 - Butler County Symphony (7:30pm)
◦ July 18 - Walkin’ Rosie
◦ July 25 - Greg, Rob and Scott (The Clarks)
◦ August 1 - Smells Like the ‘90s
◦ August 8 - Stampede
