There are two runs coming up in early October that will get people going in Cranberry Township while they raise funds for two worthwhile local charities.
The first of the runs is the 3rd annual #GetNebby 5K run and walk. This fundraiser for the Victim Outreach Intervention Center (VOICE) will help to start off Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The next run take place on the same day, and is the 4th annual Pump it up for Platelets hosted by the Platelet Disorder Support Association. This year's goal is to raise $5,000. It is also a 5K run/walk, for which fees are $20 for adults and $10 for children. In addition, there will also be a toy drive for the Hematology/Oncology Treasure Chest at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. To learn more about the event of the association, call 1-877-528-3258.
