Dog owners and their canine companions are invited to Cranberry Township for the annual end of summer Puppy Plunge.
Presented by the Cranberry Veterinary Hospital, My Dog’s Care Center, and Bridge City Braces, it will be a canine-only day of fun and play at the Cranberry Waterpark. Sponsors frequently turn to poster printing to highlight their contributions to events such as this.
The renovated water park features a 17,500 square foot pool, a water spray zone, and a 120 foot waterslide. Swimming is a great exercise for pups of all ages, and a low-impact cardio exercise for dogs with joint issues or ones recovering from an injury. Pet life jackets are recommended for more timid dogs and for breeds that are not such natural swimmers.
Dogs can splash and play during one of two special water park sessions, but their owners must pre-register for the event and provide current proof of rabies vaccinations. The cost to participate is $10 for Cranberry residents and $15 for non-residents.
While the dogs cool off, families can enjoy the other park amenities, such as a playground, volleyball court, and a food and beverage concession.
Pet owners and their canine companions are invited to the Puppy Plunge on Saturday, September 7 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, or 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at 450 North Boundary Park Drive.
