The 120th St. Barnabas Founder’s Day Celebration is scheduled for this April in Cranberry Township.
Community leaders are invited to attend a gala organized by St. Barnabas Charities. The funds raised during the event will support the Free Care Fund at St. Barnabas. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception followed by a dinner celebration, and attendees can also participate in raffles for a chance to win cash prizes or a trip to Nashville. Organizations that hold galas such as this can use banner printing to provide visibility for their sponsors.
Ben Stein will be a guest at the event and will be receiving the 2020 St. Barnabas Hance Award. The award, named after St. Barnabas founder Gouverneur Hance, is given to people who exemplify Hance’s main ideals of service to the community, and patriotism. Previous winners of the award include Fred Rogers, Debbie Reynolds, and Elsie Hillman. Stein will be giving a speech during the gala, inspired by his career.
The 120th St. Barnabas Founder’s Day Celebration will occur on Thursday, April 23rd from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Pittsburgh Marriott North. As with all events, check for updates in light of the COVID-19 situation.
Ticket prices for the gala will range from $295 to $475. Raffle tickets for the trip to Nashville will cost attendees $25 each. Those interested in taking a picture with Stein can also purchase a VIP photo pass.
