Cranberry Township already making Halloween preparations

For three weekends this October, Kennywood Amusement Park will be celebrating Halloween.

In addition to all of the regular amusements, games and display, the park will be filled with pumpkins and cornstalks. There will also be trick or treating in the Penny Arcade; last year it took place in the Vampire's Villa located there.

There will be hayrides, and costumes are encouraged as long as they do not interfere with the safety of riders. Some of the regular amusements that will be available will include rides like Auto Race, Jack Rabbit and the Merry-go-Round. Thomas Town will also be open for business.

This event is aimed mostly at children aged 10 and under but there will be plenty of activities for older children and adults.

The park is all-inclusive. Day passes are available for $45.99 for adults, $33.99 for children, $23.55 for seniors between 55 and 70, $11.99 for seniors over 70, and $31.00 for military personnel; a family pass is $139.96.

This special event is sure to attract families from all over Cranberry Township. To spread the word about such events, local Stationery printers are often asked to provide Flyers and Posters.

Kennywood Happy Hauntings will take place from October 10 to 11, 17 to 18, and 24 to 25. The hours of operation are 12:00 to 4:00 PM. To find out more about this event, call 412-461-0500.
