Businesses to mingle in Cranberry Township

There will be multiple networking opportunities next month for business owners in Cranberry Township and the surrounding areas.

Several weekly events are regularly presented by the Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber, which was created in 2010 through an amalgamation of the Cranberry Area Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Allegheny County Chamber of Commerce.

Members and guests can choose from a number of social meetings where they can mingle and create new relationships and contacts. Those who attend events such as this often use Print shops to meet their business card printing needs.

The regional chamber has a membership of more than 1,100, representing almost 24,000 area employees in 16 towns and cities spread across three state counties. It operates out of two offices, including one in Cranberry Township.

Tuesday and Thursday Chamber Connections are free meetings designed to offer the chance for entrepreneurs to meet peers, potential clients, and other professionals that can support and help grow their business. Short presentations by guest speakers are often included as part of the agenda.

Once a month, on the first Wednesday, the chamber offers Marketplace Lunch Meetings at an area restaurant, where there are further networking opportunities as well as discussions on advertising and business best practices. Registration for the February 5 meeting can be completed online.

The Chamber Connections meetings in February start on Tuesday, February 4 and Thursday, February 6, and continue each week. Non-members can attend up to three sessions for free.
