The Holiday Art Show and Sale is taking place in Cranberry beginning next month and running for six weeks. It is presented by the Cranberry Artists Network.
The show, which is only open to Cranberry Artists Network members, will feature a wide variety of art for sale. It is set to include sculptures, paintings, tapestries, ceramics, pottery and many other genres of art.
Each member was only allowed to submit one piece of art with could be no larger than 16 x 20-inches. The artwork has to sell for $200 or less and must be display-ready. The artist will receive 80 percent of the selling price of the piece and the rest will go to support the organization.
The opening reception will be held on November 29 from 6:00 to 8:00. Members of the public will have an opportunity to speak to many of the artists about their works.
The show will not only attract those people in Cranberry Township looking for works of arts that are suitable for gift giving but those who have a real interest in graphic design.
The Holiday Art Show and Sale will be held at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center from November 14 to December 20. Admission is free of charge. For the most up-to-date information, visit the Cranberry Artists Network website.
