Annual festival celebrates the culture of Cranberry Township

Cranfest is taking place next month in Cranberry Township, presented by four local organizations including Cranberry Public Library and the Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau.

While it is also a celebration of Local Government Day, the main draw for the event is the Folk and Food Festival. It is set to feature international foods to sample and cultural entertainment to enjoy. Food samples cost $1 each or full dishes can be purchased for various prices.

Kids will be kept entertained with plenty of games to enjoy, as well as musical performances. Vendors will also be on hand, representing area small businesses and selling a variety of merchandise. In addition, several local government departments will be providing exhibits and information about the services they offer to the public.

Organizers of this event are still looking for volunteers to help ensure that it runs smoothly. Those interested should contact the Cranberry Area Diversity Network for more information.

Cranberry Township postcard printing companies are often asked provide products to advertise these types of events throughout the area. They are inexpensive to produce and to mail.

Cranfest is being held at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center on April 11 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Admission is free. For the most up to date information about this event, call 724-776-4806.
