Yearly event to showcase science and technology

The 5th annual Philly Tech Week is coming up this April and there are a number of events planned to take place in the Philadelphia area as part of it.

Last year, there were 130 events held during Philly Tech Week, with more than 25,000 visitors in total. The city of Media is one of those communities holding special events during the week.

Suburban Innovation is taking place towards the end of the week. Presented by the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce and HeadRoom, it is an open air forum and a celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programs. It will also showcase local businesses, especially those dedicated to producing innovative programs and services.

There are set to be sponsors’ booths, a beer garden, and an interactive game area. Local businesses will be invited to fill 12 spaces to give 5-minute presentations.

Many of the sponsors hosting booths at this Media event will probably want to provide either printed materials or promotional items to those who stop by. Local Print companies can provide both of these.

Philly Tech Week will be held from April 17 to 25. Suburban Innovation will be held at Veteran's Square in Media on April 23 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Admission is free. To learn more, visit the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce's website.
