Pennsylvania business owners to receive marketing leg-up

This week, the Media-Upper Providence Free Library will be hosting a SCORE Seminar for business owners and potential business owners in the area, geared around marketing services.

SCORE is a non-profit organization that utilizes volunteers with experience in the business industry to help small business owners create their own thriving business. It is backed by the U.S. Small Business Administration and helped launch over 53,000 new businesses in 2015.

According to the Media-Upper Providence Free Library website:

“Business attendees will learn how to create a high-powered marketing program by harnessing personal networking, live events, search engine optimization for your website, and strengthening your email and mobile marketing.”

Those not sure what to expect from the seminar can watch pre-recorded webinars on the SCORE website to get an idea of what they will be learning and how the information will be covered.

Anyone interested can register for the seminar at EventBrite, for which the link can be found on the library’s official website. They will be asked to pay $5 for their ticket, which will be refunded to them when they check in at the event.

The seminar takes place tomorrow, October 18, beginning at 7:00 PM and ending at 9:00 PM. Should individuals have any questions about the seminar, they can contact the director Barb Hauck-Mah at 610-566-1918 or email him medirector@delcolibraries.org.
