The Ocean City Coffee Company, with three locations in New Jersey, recently opened a shop in Media.
Owner Cal Corvaia had been looking to other beach towns for the store but had not found any suitable locations. Corvaia always looks to families and locations that want to work with them in opening and operating shops and found Lauri, Corey, and Russ Watkins.
Corvaia is a police officer from Allentown and Lauri resigned from her position as a teacher to run the shop on a full-time basis. Having the Watkinses run the shop will help to maintain the family atmosphere of the store.
In looking for new locations Corvaia found that Media has a shopping district similar to that of Ashbury Avenue where one of his shops is located in Ocean City. Media just over an hour’s drive from Ocean City and 13 miles west of Philadelphia.
The shop in Media recently had a soft opening, with a grand opening date yet to be determined. Promotional Products can be used at such grand openings to advertise a new business in town.
Ocean City Coffee Company offers fresh brewed coffee, espresso-based drinks, fresh roasted gourmet coffees, and 18 varieties of specialty teas in its shops. The shop also ships gift Boxes, its individually created Drinkware, stainless steel travel Mugs, and all its products around the world.
