Music returns to the streets of Media

The 14th annual State Street Blues Stroll is taking place at various venues in downtown Media this June. A presentation of WXPN 88.5, proceeds from this event go to support the Media Police Association and the Blues Foundation.

There are set to be a number of live performances held in downtown restaurants, bars, and halls, including a variety of all ages venues as well as those just for people aged over 21. The headline performance will be held at the Media Theatre and will feature Lil' Ed and The Blues Imperials.

Other performers for this year's event are expected to include the Lonnie Shields Band, Blues Brothers and a Sister, Sonoma Sound, and the Georgie Bonds Band. Many of the performances are in restaurants where guests are expected to purchase a full meal; however, there are also some free events also with the price of a pass.

Media printing companies may have been asked to provide this year's flyer to help spread the word throughout the area.

The State Street Blues Stroll is being held in Downtown Media on June 14 from 6:00 pm to 1:15 am. A pass costs $15 or $12 for members of WXPN.
