The 48th annual Media Art Exhibition and Craft Fair is returning to the city next month. This popular event usually attracts at least 15,000 visitors to the downtown area.
As in previous years, State Street and Veteran's Square will be closed to traffic. Many of the stores in the area will be offering special deals during the fair, and several area restaurants will be setting up tables on the sidewalk to serve everyone.
This is a juried art exhibition and is set to feature more than 100 arts and crafts vendors from all over Pennsylvania. The vendors will be selling a variety of unique and handmade items, such as clothing, jewelry, works of art, pottery, ceramics, and home decor. A panel of expert judges will be awarding cash prizes and ribbons in 10 categories to those chosen to be the best.
The fair is widely advertised in the area and it is likely that the Media organizers plan to invest in such marketing materials as Posters and Flyers to help get the word out. Local Stationery printers offer these types of services for a reasonable price.
The Media Art Exhibition and Craft Fair is taking place on State Street on June 8, and the rain date is June 15. Admission is free. To learn more about the event, or to become a vendor, call 610-583-4432.
