Historical event explores Battle at Chadds Ford
Visitors and area residents will have the opportunity to learn more about the American Revolution in Chadds Ford next month.
The 2025 Battle at Chadds Ford: Historic Chadds Ford Days is quickly approaching, and organizers are excited to announce that this year’s celebration will feature a battle reenactment. The day is being set up by the Chadds Ford Historical Society, which aims to help guests take a journey back in time to September 11, 1777.
Two timed skirmishes will take place at the battlefield, followed by a firing demonstration. Attendees will also cross paths with camp followers, authors, historians, and local artisans at the festival. Food and beverages will be available throughout the historical event. Banner printing is a prominent way to welcome guests at the entrances of such events while promoting them to travelers passing by the area.
A special segment will be held on the first night of the festival. Guests are invited to take part in the Tavern Night. Reenactors will sing traditional tavern songs and ballads in a candlelit environment, transporting guests to a different place in time.
The event will be held at the Chadds Ford Historical Society, and is scheduled to start on Saturday, September 13 at 10:00 AM, continuing on the Sunday. Interested parties can make reservations online via the AllEvents.in listing.
