‘Illuminate the Night, the Media Music Theatre Gala’ is taking place in about a month’s time.
There are set to be two receptions, one of which is VIP entry for the sponsors and the other is general admission. Both will feature appetizers and drinks, but the non-VIP reception will have a cash bar. In between, there will be an awards presentation, together with live and silent auctions. Entertainment will be in the form of Broadway favorites performed by Ann Crumb, Sean Thompson, Lauren Cupples, Sarah Moya, and the Media Theatre Youth Ensemble.
Sponsorships are also available for $750, $1,250, and $1,500. As well as access to the VIP reception, sponsors are given tickets for upcoming productions.
The mission of the Media Music Theatre is to introduce the youth of the area to musical theater. It hosts the Delco Idol contest during the summer for young people between the ages of 14 and 24.
Media businesses and individuals who will be donating items to the auctions will most likely be recognized at the event with signage that may have been provided by local Stationery printers.
