Fundraising events at botanical garden in Media
The Tyler Arboretum in Media will be hosting two special fundraising events in September.
Tyler at Sunset will feature appetizers and cocktails as guests stroll the Scenic Loop.
Tyler at Twilight is a major society event in Delaware County. This event features both a silent and live auction hosted by a lively and personable master of ceremonies. There will be a catered sit-down dinner with a variety of food items served from local restaurants and two full bars overlooking the Cedar of Lebanon. The event will be held under a massive tent on the Painter lawn of the arboretum.
Such events are often promoted throughout a community with banner printing. Brochure printing may also be used to highlight specific areas of interest to guests at such events.
Proceeds from the event and auction will support the landscape maintenance initiatives and educational programs of the arboretum. Sponsors of Tyler at Twilight include Clark Capital Management, Yulan Magnolia, Keystone Quality Transport, and Republic Bank.
The history of the Tyler Arboretum dates to 1861 when an English Quaker, Thomas Minshall, purchased property from William Penn. Descendants of Minshall planted over 1,000 plants for enjoyment and study by 1825. Today the mission of the Tyler Arboretum is to serve as a steward of natural lands and as a center of excellence in environmental education.
Both events will be held on Thursday September 16.
