Floral workshop helps Aston mark Mothers Day
Aston residents looking for a memorable way to celebrate Mother’s Day are in luck, as a floral workshop is coming to town to bring mothers and their families together.
The Mother’s Day Floral Workshop, organized by The Arts Guild at Neumann University, will begin accepting registration from interested parties who want to reserve their spots for next month’s event. The event will help each participant learn the skills to become a top flower designer and arranger for future decor and gifts to family and friends.
Leona Swiacki, a local floral designer with years of experience, will lead the workshop. Swiacki will be available to answer questions and provide one-on-one guidance to attendees. Flyer printing is a fantastic way to promote such events around the community and increase potential attendance.
At the end of the event, all participants will be able to take their creations home to share with family and friends. All necessary materials for the arrangements will be provided and covered by the registration cost, including floral shears and aprons. Spots are limited, and interested parties must make reservations to participate in the arrangement session.
The workshop will be held in the Student Multipurpose Hall at the John J. Mullen Communication Center in Aston on Tuesday, May 6. Doors open at 7:00 PM, and tickets cost $40 per student.
