Festival to raise a glass to local breweries

The Brandywine Valley Craft Brewers' Festival is being held in Media in a month’s time. A portion of all proceeds raised will go to support the Media Youth Center.

No fewer than 25 local breweries will be promoting their craft beers to the public. Those who attend can also purchase food and enjoy continuous live music during the afternoon.

It will be an opportunity for craft brewers in the area to introduce their product to the general public, and for attendees to discover a new beer that they may go on to drink regularly.

Events such as these, and tradeshows for other types of businesses, are important to smaller companies. They help them get the word out about their products for a fraction of the cost of major advertising.

The organizer of this event may choose to invest in services like banner and poster printing to advertise this upcoming event. Media companies can provide those types of items for a reasonable price.

The festival is taking place at the Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant on May 17 Admission is $45 in advance or $50 at the door. Designated drivers will only pay $5 and will receive a free food voucher.

The event is for those aged 21 and over and they must show a valid form of ID to be admitted. To find out more, visit the restaurant's website.
