Concerts return outdoors to Media
The Rose Tree Summer Festival will be returning to the outdoor amphitheater in Rose Tree Park in Media later this month.
The opening concert will be by the Delaware County Symphony, a community orchestra under the direction of Sebastian Grand. The main sponsor of the concert series sis Delaware County with production assistance by the Parks and Recreation Department. Additional sponsors include Tavola Restaurant + Bar, White Horse Village, Monarch Staffing, and Metropolitan Communications. Among the Friends of the Summer Festival are N. Shows are held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday evenings with two shows in the morning at 10:00 a.m. for children. Parking and admission are free. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for seating and a picnic as no concessions will be sold.
The first concert will be held on Saturday June 26.
