Charcuterie and wine combine for good time near Aston

A charcuterie and wine night is being planned near Aston next month, providing area residents with a fun way to celebrate the end of winter with friends.

The Charcuterie Board and Wine Pairing Class, hosted by the White Dog Cafe of Glen Mills, is getting ready to open its doors to registered guests who want to learn how to create captivating charcuterie boards and pair them with the best wines. The workshop will be led by a local chef, Mike Selser, who has years of experience in the culinary industry.

Selser and the event organizers hope to deliver a fun and flavorsome learning experience. The workshop will start with hands-on learning experiences and advice on how to create a charcuterie board. Brochure printing is a fantastic take-home resource for students at such workshops to continue practicing and learning from home.

The instructor will also introduce participants to local wine options that pair with the meats and cheeses on the board. Other food options include nuts and olives to add different flavors to the palate. Students will get to keep their boards at the workshop’s conclusion.

The charcuterie and wine workshop will be held on Tuesday, February 11, at the White Dog Care in Glen Mills. The doors will open at 7:00 PM. General admission tickets are $65 per person online.
