Alice Ripley, a Broadway performer and singer who last performed in the musical American Psycho, will soon be performing at the Star Struck Fundraising Gala at the Media Theatre.
The 23rd annual gala will be featuring silent and live auctions, a concert with Ripley, an awards show, and a reception with catering.
At the awards ceremony, David White, the Delaware County councilman will receive the 2017 Walter M. Strine Advocate of the Arts Award for donating a generous amount of money to the arts and the Iron Workers Bank, who will be represented by the president of the Iron Workers Bank John Whitig, will be receiving the 2017 Community Partnership Award. Among some of the items being auctioned off are tickets to the musicals Sunset Boulevard and Hamilton, as well as an opportunity to see the Media Theatre’s New York City auditions.
The gala will begin at 6:00 pm this Saturday, February 25, and will take place at 104 E. State Street in Media. Tickets begin at $150 for an individual one.
