The 12th annual Fine Arts and Crafts Festival is taking place on State Street in Media this September. It is a fundraising event for the Community Arts Center.
Previous to the festival will be the 4th Taste of Media fundraiser. Guests will enjoy food samples from local restaurants and caterers, an open bar, and live jazz music from Doc Gibbs and Friends. They will also have to opportunity to vote on the ‘Best of the Fest’.
The festival itself will feature artists and crafters from all over the country who will be selling handmade items like jewelry, paintings, and clothing. There will also be artist demonstrations, live music, and children's activities throughout the day. Food will be available for purchase as well.
Sponsorships are also available from $500 to $7,500, and all will be recognized in the event program. For advertising of festivals like this, organizers often invest in sign and poster printing from Media Print companies. These can then be posted all over the area to help bring more people.
The Taste of Media will be held at the Duke Gallery on September 25, beginning at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $75 each. The Fine Arts and Crafts Festival will take place on September 27 from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Admission is free. Call 610-566-5039 to find out more about planned activities.
