Artists Equity Exhibition comes to Wallingford

Residents of Wallingford, and nearby areas such as Media, will be able to visit the Artists Equity Juried Exhibition at the Community Arts Center throughout the month of November.

The Artists Equity Juried Exhibition opened on October 22 and features artists such as Nancy Neill, an artist who creates her own handmade jewelry, Alan Lankin, a painter from Oklahoma, and Georgette L. Veeder, an artist who uses paper and fibers to create her artwork. The juror for this event is Jan Baltzell. Baltzell is an artist and an educator who has had her work featured in the National Museum of Women in the Arts and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Along with these artists, several other exhibitions also debuted on the same day.

This exhibition will be running until November 22 in the Duke Gallery and the exhibition is free to view. The Community Arts Center is open on Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm, on Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and on Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
