The annual toy drive hosted by Crozer-Keystone Health System, in conjunction with Community Action Agency of Delaware County and the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, is currently accepting toy donations, and locals still have a couple of weeks to make a contribution.
All new, unwrapped toy donations will go to needy children up to 15 years old throughout Delaware County. Some of the toy suggestions mentioned on Crozer-Keystone’s website include action figures, dolls, children’s Books, board games, puzzles, sports equipment, coloring Books, building blocks, and arts and crafts materials. As long as the gift is appropriate and new, it will be accepted by the organization as a donation.
The toy drive got underway yesterday, December 4, and will be running until December 18. Some of the locations that will be accepting donations include the Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill, the Crozer-Keystone Surgery Center at Haverford, the Crozer-Keystone at Broomall, and the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce office located in Springfield near Media, Pennsylvania.
To learn more about the toy drive, or to view Flyers from last year’s drive (which contain much of the same information as this year’s event), visit the Crozer-Keystone Health System website or the Pivot website for Delaware County. Both sites contain a full list of locations accepting donations, as well as additional toy donation ideas.
