The 12th Jazz by Night Celebration is taking place in Media this November. It is part of the America's Music Festival Series in the city, and is presented by the Media Business Authority and WRTI 90.1 FM, having been partly funded by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
This year's event is in honor of Monnette Sudler and will see 21 restaurants and clubs host indoor musical performances. Some are all ages, while others are for those aged 21 and over. The jazz music people will hear at the festival will range from traditional to the avant-garde. Among the acts that will be appearing are Shiron Denise and Wojamm, Sycamore Muse, Hot Club of Philadelphia, and Rev. Chris & the High Rollers.
Those planning to attend performances are encouraged to make reservations with the venue they are interested in to avoid being disappointed at the door.
To help advertise this annual event, organizers may have worked with Media poster printing companies. These Posters can then be distributed all over the region.
The Jazz by Night Celebration is taking place on November 15 from 6:00 pm - 1:00 am. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door; they are available at any of the venues.
