The Media Theatre's 22nd fundraising gala is taking place next month. The theme of this year's event is ‘Fight for the Arts’ and it will benefit The Media Theatre Annual Fund.
The evening event will start off with three "artistic" choreographed kickboxing matches. The matches will consist of Johnny Tuto vs Oscar de Tango, Sugarbear Promenade vs Carlos "Cha Cha" Jones, and Jake La Conga vs Pernell Balero, Jr. This will be followed by a concert by Broadway star Josh Young who hails from Delaware County. He is best-known for playing Judas in ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’.
There is also set to be a live auction and two sponsor receptions. Sponsorships are available for purchase from $300 up to $15,000.
The Media Theatre's Annual Fund helps to provide the community with several educational programs, Broadway shows, and performance premieres before they go to New York and other cities.
Organizers of this annual fundraising event will likely contact Media Stationery printers for help in advertising. Items such as Flyers, Posters, and Brochures are inexpensive to produce and easily distributable in the community.
The annual gala will be held at the Media Theatre on February 20 beginning at 7:00 pm. Ticket prices are $55 each until February 1 and $65 after.
