The 13th annual Jazz by Night Celebration is taking place this month. Sponsored by the Media Business Authority and WRTI 90.1, the event is part of America's Music Festival Series in Media.
Around 22 restaurants in the downtown area will be hosting jazz performers from all over the country. Some of the venues will welcome all ages, some will be restricted to those over the age of 21, and some also require that ticket holders also purchase a meal. Reservations are recommended at all of the restaurants.
Among this year's performers at the festival are the Bootsie Barnes Quartet, the Eric Stein Trio, Gina Roche, The Sermon, and Reverend Chris. There will also be a performance of ‘The Philly Saxophone Summit with Bootsie, Odean McKenna and Elliott’.
Events like this attract visitors to downtown Media and bring more business to State Street stores and restaurants. With this in mind, organizers will likely be contacting local printing companies to provide them with advertising materials such as Posters, or to produce the tickets.
The Jazz by Night Celebration will take place on State Street on November 21 from 7:00 pm until after midnight. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 on the day of the event.
