The Winter Semester of Acting Classes at the Media Theatre have officially started.
These classes, which are available for all ages, will begin in the next few days, take place one day a week for around an hour or an hour and a half, and will typically last for eight to ten weeks.
For children in kindergarten through third grades, classes begin tomorrow, January 6, while fourth through sixth grade start on Tuesday, January 9. For teens, classes begin Sunday, January 7 and adult classes will get underway on January 9.
The theatre has added a new class as well this year, which is specifically designed for ‘tweens’ in the 11-12 age group. This will begin on January 10.
All of the classes listed above will help actors to learn more about their craft, hone their talents, and become more comfortable with themselves and their abilities.
All acting classes will be under the supervision of Jesse Cline, an artistic director who received a Broadway World Award and studied with Sanford Meisner. Some children’s and teens’ classes will also be supervised and instructed by Media Theatre’s own Roger Ricker. Actors of all experience levels are welcome to attend and all classes will cost $400 for those who wish to enroll.
